The information on Kentucky's new and expanding industries provide a measure of economic development based on qualified industrial activity in the Commonwealth. The Cabinet for Economic Development complies the data provided by companies, local and industrial development contacts, newspaper announcements, and Cabinet programs designed to locate and retain industry.

This website provides the functionality to search on companies locating or expanding in Kentucky. It will allow you to conduct search based on specified time periods, foreign ownership, announcement type, location and more.

The search result from the system will return estimated number of jobs, estimated capital investments, and product/service descriptions. The Cabinet reports the activities in the year the announcements are made, even though realization of the announced full employment may take future years.

The database contains announcements that are made as of January 1, 2003 through the present. Please contact CED if you are interested in even older announcements.
